El Capricho Reserve are wines aged in small barrels of French and American oak, characterized by the balance of fruit and wood.

Harvest

The grapes are hand-harvested and placed in 18 kg crates

Winemaking

After cluster selection and destemming, they are gently transferred to fermentation tanks. The fermentation process takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 26°C for 10-12 days. Following fermentation, a post-maceration is carried out for 25 to 30 days.

Aging

The 70% of the wine is aged for 12 months in first and second-use French and American oak barrels.

Nose

Delicate aromas of ripe red and black fruits intertwine with enticing notes of vanilla, chocolate, and leather.

Palate

On the palate, it reveals a well-structured character with velvety and firm tannins. The finish is persistent and memorable.

Appearance

This Tannat showcases a deep, brilliant ruby red color with violet hues.
