Growing Conditions

The year 2011 began with an early winter, rather cool and with very little rainfall.
Spring, marked by the persistence of anticyclonic conditions over Europe, is dry, hot
and very sunny.
The summer of 2011 is capricious. The weather is hot but often stormy in June, cooler and humid in
July. August marks the return of the heat which is confirmed in September. Autumn is hot and dry.
The harvest took place from September 11 to 24.
